Awkwafina
Awkwafina, an American actor and singer, began with humorous raps that addressed racial identities and sexuality. Prior to her move to Hollywood her music, she came out with the rap track series. Nora Lum was born to Chinese-Korean immigrants from Forest Hills Queens. Her first encounter with music was from the trumpet. She also received instruction in jazz and classical before delving into hip-hop as a teenager. As a student, she studied journalism as well as women's studies. She even taking classes in Mandarin in Beijing for a short time. When she graduated, she started to focus on music. The song My Vag, a response track to Mickey Avalon's My Dick gained viral popularity on the Internet in 2012. It was eventually included in her album Yellow Ranger released in 2014. Other hits on the internet that were viral include Queef track and the equally winking NYC Bitchecity tour. The latter track was linked to Awkwafina's NYC and 2015 travel guide. With musician and author in her portfolio, she decided to decided to focus on becoming a third endeavor actor. In addition to early shows such as Girl Code and Tawk she was also in films like Neighbors 2, Storks as well as Bad Rap. Her breakthrough came during the year 2018, appearing in a handful of movies that were highly regarded, such as Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. The EP was released in June.
